Glide Yoga runs regular Four Week Beginner Courses so that you can learn the fundamentals of Yoga in a specialised class where everyone is new to Yoga. You will be guided by experienced teachers who give clear instructions and provide individual assistance and safe modifications that allow you to build confidence as you progress. The cost for the 4 week course is $60 and includes complimentary classes for the course's duration. Invigorate & Rejuvenate
Our signature 'Glide Flow' class will leave you feeling invigorated and rejuvenated. Designed as an all levels class, it is tailored to meet the needs of beginners (plenty of modifications to keep you safe) and a strong flowing sequence to challenge more advanced yoga students. Glide Flow is a strong and fluid yoga class, perfect for all abilities. Connecting breath to movement has a calming effect on the mind so that you will leave class feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Glide Flow incorporates more challenging poses but as always modifications are offered to suit beginners. Benefits include building strength, increased flexibility, a calming of the nervous system and greater self-awareness.
Rest & Rejuventate
Taking time out to relax and renew is essential to living well. Learn how to switch off your stress response and turn on the relaxation response with a restorative yoga class designed to calm the nervous system and leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated with a deep sense of calm.
Class begins with a gentle flowing sequence to draw your awareness inward and ends with some longer holds in supported restorative poses.
A weekly restorative class is highly recommended to help you experience greater peace, calm and joy in everyday living. If you have never tried restorative yoga before, you are in for a treat. Glide Restore is like having a massage or facial, you will literally glide or float out of this class. No previous yoga experience is required.
Restorative yoga is especially beneficial for anyone with anxiety, chronic fatigue, adrenal fatigue, stress related illnesses, thyroid problems and insomnia.
Glide Stretch & Restore
Stretch & Release
A class that focuses on stretching and releasing the tightest parts of the body - hamstrings, quads, hips, backs and shoulders.
Stretch & Restore is perfect for althetes (cyclists, runners, footballers) and for anyone who spends a lot of time sitting in front of a computer.
Benefits include an increase in flexibility and range of movement through the joints of the body, a release of tension, reduced stress levels and a stilling of the mind. Class concludes with one or two restorative poses to take you into a deep state of relaxation and rejuvenation.
Strengthen & Release
Self-massage & spiky balls
Take your yoga practice to the next level by learning how to strengthen from within with a myofascial strengthen & release class with Martina. Get ready for an efficient, contrasting and refreshing mat class where self-massage exercises and dynamic sling (fascia) sequences are seamlessly blended with familiar poses. This combination is unique, strengthens from within and adds a spring to your step, while releasing tension and invigorating the body from head to toe. This class is functional, holistic and fun.
Martina has a life long passion for movement, she is a lecturer and assessor for art of motion training in movement, and Slings Myofascial Training practitioner. Martina loves to choreograph functional and fun sequences and incorporates the use of small props to invigorate, challenge and stimulate the body and mind.

The classes are for anyone living with cancer, heart disease, stress, anxiety or any chronic or debilitating disease. You will learn how to increase your feeling of well-being, manage stress levels and cope with the often ardous treatments.
Annie trained with Nischala Joy Devi and is a certified yoga therapist. She will guide you through some very gentle yoga poses moving towards deep relaxation. Additionally, you will learn some coping skills, enabling you to feel calmer and more positive, ready to face the challenges ahead.
In 2004 Annie was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She was treated with a lumpectomy, removal of all lymph glands in right armpit, chemotherapy and radiation. She practiced yoga five days a week during this time, often arriving to class feeling tired and unwell but always left feeling better. She says, "I didn’t ever feel threatened by the diagnosis and remained positive and optimistic throughout. I really don’t think that I would have had the same frame of mind if I wasn’t practising yoga."

Fun for Kids
The benefits of yoga for kids of all ages are limitless. Through imagination, story, sound, games and fun, the health benefits of yoga can be effectively experienced by any child. Glide Yoga’s classes for children are taught by Simone Van Vugt, who has completed a Yoga Australia accredited children’s yoga course. In these yoga classes, children learn the skills of mind-body awareness, inspiring self-confidence, focus, mindful reflection, self-regulation, creativity and self-efficacy while learning gratitude and optimism, all in a fun and safe environment. This is on top of the physical health benefits yoga provides children such as strength, balance and flexibility.
Glide Yoga classes for kids yoga are a holistic experience. Postures and movements that work specific areas of the body, breathing practices, relaxation and mindfulness have been proven to help children with their development and progression in life. Yoga can show and teach kids (and adults!) in a super fun way that anything is possible.
